Description

Bústaðurinn er 75m2 að stærð. Hann er 65 km frá Reykjavík og vel staðsettur til að skoða helstu ferðamannastaði á Suðurlandi svo sem Þingvelli, Geysi og Gullfoss, sem allt erí innanvið klukkutíma akstursfjarlægð. Að Seljalandsfossi er ca 1 klst og að Vestmannaeyjaferju ca 1 klst og 15 min. Einungis fimmtán mínútna akstur er til Selfoss þar sem finna má matvælaverslanir og alla almenna þjónustu. Hótel Grímsborgir eru í ca1.5 km fjarlægð og þar er veitingahús. Þrastarlundur er í ca 6 km fjarlægð þar sem einnig eru seldar veitingar .
Í húsinu eru tvö svefnherbergi, annað með tvíbreiðu uppbúnu rúmi og hitt með tveimur stökum uppbúnum rúmum. Í stofu er tvíbreiður svefnsófi með sængurfatnaði fyrir 2. Heitur pottur er við hlið hússins.
Í eldhúsi eru öll nauðsynleg eldunartæki og borðbúnaður . Rúmgóð sturta er inn á baðherberginu. Handklæði fylgja með leigu.
Í stofu er sjónvarp. Stór verönd er við húsið. Lágmarks gistináttafjöldi er 3 nætur. Gæludýr ekki leyfð. Reykingar bannaðar innandyra.
Væntanlegir leigendur fá kort sem sýnir staðsetningu og upplýsingar um aðgang að húsinu, sent í tölvupósti, þegar bókun hefur verið gerð.

The location of the house is perfect to visit all the natural highlights of the golden circle. The house is perfectly equipped - all kind of spices and kitchen gear. If you would live permanetly there, you would not miss anything. The furniture of the house creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The hosts Gunnar and Oddný are very friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Thank you very much! Family from Munich in September 2022.

It was a lovley house in great location for touring the South area. I cooked most nights and the kitchen resources was like home away from home. The hot tub is a lovley feature.

Wonderful, very comfortable house, much space, superb view, ideal location for visiting the Golden Circle. Especially enjoyed the birds around the house (godwits, redshanks, snipes etc.)

Lovely lodge in a great location. Reasonably remote but easy to find and convenient for the town of Selfoss and for the Golden Circle. Warm and cosy with everything we needed even down to an HDMI cable to connect to the TV and a WiFi speaker! We would absolutely return. Nothing negative to say at all; not one thing.

We stayed at this cabin for just under a week in August 2021. It is a truly cosy place, the kitchen is very well equipped and even had basics like salt, pepper, oil and many many more which is nice if you do not have to buy these things for just a 5 day stay. This is truly thoughtful.
The hot-tub is amazing and we used it multiple times every day :)
Check-in and check-out was very easy and straight forward. The location is very convenient and makes it possible to reach all the main sites on the golden circle in no time.
I can only recommend this place and would stay here again in an instant!

My Wife and I spent a wonderful week in this wonderful cottage. The area is perfect for looking to the northern lights and you can reach all the "must have-place" in southern Iceland. The cottage is in a real excellent shape. Whatever you need for feeling at home and having a nice vacation - the cottage has it.
The host is very friendly and looking that everything works fine.
So - everything has been great!

We stayed at the cottage from 10th to 16th August 2019. The location is very good when it comes to exploring the southern part of Iceland. The cottage is spacious and has a well-equipped kitchen!

Very neat house with complete inventory. All you need for a luxury stay is in place. Very bright and shining atmosphere thanks to the many windows. Grill, hot tub, lots of space, just excellent.
