Description

Um er að ræða glæsilegt 100 fm2 heilsárshús í hlíðum Búrfells í Grímnesinu.

Húsið er bjálkahús með með tveimur svefnherbergjum og mjög stóru svefnlofti, svefnaðstaða er fyrir 8 manns og hægt að útvega ferða barnarúm ef óskað er. Bústaðurinn fyrst og fremst hugsaður fyrir fjölskyldufólk.

- Herbergi 1: 1 rúm 120x200cm & 135x195cm svefnsófi.
- Herbergi 2: 1 rúm 160x200cm
- Svefnloft: 2 rúm 150x200cm.

Eldhúsið er fullbúið með öllum helstu eldhústækjum svo sem uppþvottavél, eldavél með ofni, ísskáp með frysti, ristavél, kaffivél og borðbúnaði fyrir 12 manns. Nýtt gasgrill er á verönd. Á baðherberginu er sturta og þvottavél. Veröndin er sérstaklega góð og er tvískipt, annarsvegar yfirbyggð (20 fm2) þar sem hliðum er lokað með gleri og hins vegar stór verönd (35 fm2) með stórum potti fyrir 8 manns, garðhúsgögnum og góðri sólbaðsaðstöðu.

Í húsinu eru sængur, koddar, tuskur, viskastykki og lítil handklæði (ekki baðhandklæði).

Stutt er í alla helstu þjónustu og afþreyingu, t.d golf á Kiðjabergi og Öndverðarnesi, sund að Minni Borg og Hraunborgum. Það er Jetski-leiga á Svínavatni og stangveiði m.a. í Apavatni, Laugarvatni, Úlfljótsvatni og Hestvatni, þá tekur einungis 10-12 mín að keyra niðrá Selfoss.

Um 55 mín akstur er frá Reykjavík (Rauðavatn) m.v. venjulega umferð.

Gestir skulu taka með sér sængurföt, baðhandklæði og klósettpappír. Bústaðnum skal skila hreinum en við bjóðum upp á lokaþrif á 12.000 kr. fyrir þá sem vilja njóta frísins og sleppa við lokaþrif. Vinsamlegast athugið að skila þarf óhreinum tuskum/viskustykkjum og handklæðum þegar lyklum er skilað.
Miðað er við að leigjendur skili húsinu kl. 12 á skiladegi og það sé til ráðstöfunar kl. 16 á komudegi, nema um annað sé samið.

Frábær fjölskyldubústaður í rólegu lokuðu hverfi með góða sál og frábært útsýni yfir Grímsnesið.

schöne Lage, ruhig.Eine Bereicherung ist der Hot pot,ein Außenpool auf der Terrasse, der auf bis zu 40 Grad geheizt werden kann mit bodenthermisch geheiztem Wasser.
Die Temperaturregulierung vom Poolwasser und sonstigem Brauchwasser ist etwas kompliziert.
Matrazen sind gut, die Küchenausstattung perfekt.
Sehr gemütlich und wohnlich eingerichtet.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helgafell! The weather didn?t cooperate so we couldn?t enjoy the lovely porch, but the kids were able to enjoy the hot tub?.and got glimpses of the northern lights peeking out from behind clouds . There were 5 of us and we were very comfortable in the house. The beds are comfortable and the views out the windows were beautiful . The house was clean and had everything we needed. Directions to the house are excellent. Soffia was very attentive and made herself available even at 5:00 in the morning. The house is in a great location to explore the golden circle, and nearby Selfoss was convient for shopping and restaurants ?

Þessi bústaður er frábær. Hann er rúmgóður, vel útbúinn, og glæsilega innréttaður. Yfirbyggða veröndin er algjör snilld þar sem hún gerir manni kleift a sitja úti í sólinni án þess að finna fyrir hinum klassíska Íslenska vindi sem svo oft eyðileggur annars ánægjulega og sólríka daga. Frá bústaðnum er líka nokkuð stutt í alls konar skemmtilega afþreyingu. Frábær bústaður í alla staði og við munum klárlega fara þangað aftur.

Stayed 3 nights in July and loved every minute! The house is wonderful and the hot tub very relaxing. Beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. (There is no a/c or dryer, but we laid our clean clothes around at night and they were dry by morning). The owners are very responsive and they were very helpful to our special request of dropping off our luggage early. Beautiful views all around and easy access to main roads to Selfoss and Thingvillar park. There are no stores or restaurants nearby, so the kitchen is very needed. I highly recommend staying here...we can't wait to go back!

Very cosy, well-equipped wooden chalet with nice view over the Mountain. We were so Lucky that we saw dancing the Northern Lights from the hot tab on the terrace.
Very good location in the Center of interestgni Spots.

What a beautiful and cozy home,
with perfect location. Well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub was perfect after a long days of discovering Iceland. The owners made sure they are reachable in case we need them. We would like to say a big thank you for making our holiday so special.

We have felt very comfortable here. It is a very nice, clean house with enough space for 6 people. We have often used the whirlpool. We received precise information and instructions for the operation of all devices before the trip. The landlord was always available for us by phone. A very nice contact. We would love to come back!

We loved this stunning home! We stayed for 3 nights, and would happily have stayed for the entire trip. The bungalow is warm, in perfect condition, and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, everything we needed in the kitchen, and comfortable beds. The owners/hosts were great, and access was easy. We spent a lot of time in the gorgeous hot-tub, and the location was perfect to explore the Golden Circle. You won?t be disappointed if you book here!

An ideal location for exploring the South of Iceland. From here we easily travelled to Vik, the Westmann Islands, the Blue Lagoon, Geysir etc as well as visiting numerous craters, springs, beaches and waterfalls. The cabin itself is well equipped with the owners quick to respond to any questions or issues.

wir haben wunderbare 6 tage in diesem sehr schönen haus verbringen dürfen...
das haus ist sehr gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet und liegt an einer tollen lage für ausflüge in alle Richtungen... wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin zurück um unsere ferien in süd iceland voll zu geniessen? auf ein neues, helmi und marianne

We had a wonderful stay in Iceland. The location of the cottage is perfect for so many trips you mast have seen in beautiful Iceland, that are not so far away, such as Gullfoss, Geysir and Thingvellir Nationalparc.
The cottage is very spacious, cozy and nicely decorated with so many details that made you feel like home. The kitchen is well equipped. The hot tub has the days always perfect completed!
One thing that needs updating is that there was no CD player, but it was written in the description that there was one.
Otherwise we liked everything a lot and can recommend it! Also, Reynir and Soffia were very helpful and we could contact them with any questions.

The summer house was easy to reach, lays in an optimal location close to the Ring road and as well to the Golden Circle.
The provided info package from the owner was very detailed and helpful.
Big highlight for the kids was the hot tub, a definite must-try!
Can certainly recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Helgafell over Christmas. The house was very spacious, warm, comfortable and all of the Christmas decorations made it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (including a much-used waffle iron!) and the house is not too far from Selfoss for when we needed food and fuel. The hot tub was great and the huge collection of dvds came in very handy on bad weather days. Although we didn?t get the white Christmas we had hoped for, we did get snow later in the week which completely transformed the surrounding area, and to cap it all off we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the house one night! We would love to come back and stay here again. Thanks Reynir!

Soffia and Reynir's cabin is both beautiful and extremely comfortable! My husband and I, our two adult daughters and their husbands spent a week there in late November, and the cabin was perfect for us. Its location was central to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was a pleasure to come home to after hiking, sightseeing, etc. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen which we used to do some cooking and a washing machine which was very handy. We were even able to see the Northern Lights from the yard. We will definitely stay there again in the future. Much thanks to Soffia and Reynir!

Fantastic vacation home. Furnished beautifully & comfortably. Perfect location for watching the Northern Lights from the hot tub on the deck. Well situated to visit the Golden Circle and Southern Iceland. Very private. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

It is a very familiar and cosy house. It is well heated and dry indoor, what you will like after tours on rainy and cold days. It has a well heated hot tub, which you will use every day. It lies in a quiet area and it is perfect for visiting all attraction of the golden circle. We can recommend this house absolute.

We stayed at two Bungalo properties during our fortnight in Iceland. This was definitely our favourite.
Very welcoming hosts, beautiful interior, outdoor hot-tub, lovely location.
(The only slight problem was that 2 double beds were in one room on the mezzanine floor. So 8 of use shared 4 beds in 3 rooms which didnt work so well for us. Still definitely deserves 5 stars as long as this is understood.)

A lovely summerhouse perfectly located. We were 4 adults and 3 children. The house is child friendly, nice and clean, fully equipped and beautifully furnished. We had a wonderful time.

This cottage was an excellent experience .the place was clean and very well maintained .it is a solid wood house with an excellent view.we had great weather although a little windy but there are great wind shields on the front balcony which made the outdoors area first class
I was there with my parents and my 2 small boys and the house catered very well for all of us
I would not hesitate to stay there again and can recommend it to any future guests

We stayed in a wonderful familyhouse! Much space for everyone, cosy furniture, well equiped, everything was clean and last but not least we enjoyed of course the hot tub very much!
We also could drive to a lot of amazing nature from Helgafell.

Very lovely cottage nested in the wilderness, yet only 10 minutes drive to Selfoss where everything is available, and close to all attractions in the Golden Circle. It is very comfortable to stay. The owner is responsive and helpful to every enquiry we made. The whole process from booking to departure is smooth and hassle free. This place definitely added to our great experience in this first visit to Iceland!

Frábær bústaður, snyrtilegur, kósí, með allt til alls og gestgjafarnir mjög vinalegir. Myndi hiklaust mæla með og myndi leigja þennan bústað aftur.

I highly recommend this cabin! Tidy and clean, cozy, with everything you need and the hosts were really friendly. Especially love how much thought and personality has been put in every detail of the decoration of the cabin.

We had a great time at this lovely cottage, despite some wet days it was nice to return to a warm cosy cottage and a soak in the hot tub. The location is ideal for exploring all around Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss and along the South Coast to Dyraholey. Staying in the middle of October enabled us to enjoy the wonderful autumn colours of the surrounding area, it was like driving through a golden fantasy land ! We had no problems with our stay but if we had have, we knew we were able to contact Reynir with any concerns.

A very nice summerhouse in a wonderful setting, especially for the Golden Circle. A good base for visiting the south. Only 1 hour from Reykjavic. Northern Lights were unbelievable.

Ég var ekki sjálf í húsinu, en þetta var mjög fínt sagði fólkið, en það vantaði ýmislegt eins og WC pappír og hreinsidót.

Án efa er ekki annað en hægt að segja að þetta er stórfenglegasti og glæsilegasti bústaður sem við hjú höfum farið í! það var allt tandurhreint og klárt þegar við komum hingað, geðveik verönd með öllum tækjum sem þarf á að halda svona upp í sveitinni!! útsýnið og heitapotturinn glimrandi og við gætum ekki verið ánægðari :D Mæli hiklaust með þessum bústaði! :D

superbe chalet d'été, vaste et accueillant, très bien équipé. Le hot pot a été très apprécié ! la literie est confortable. On se sent chez soi !
Un seul point négatif : il faut prendre les clés (et les ramener) près de Reykjavik, ce que nous ne savions pas (ce n'est pas précisé dans les papiers que nous avions reçu de Bungalo). Nous avons donc dû faire une partie de la route tard le soir pour les prendre, les propriétaires aussi.

A brilliant stay! The pictures don't do justice to the place. This is a fantastic house, large, warm and cosy. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The house has everything that one needs for an authentic Icelandic summerhouse experience. Highly recommended!

Ljómandi gott hús og útsýni frábært mjög henntugt fyrir t.d. stóra fjölskyldu. Bílastæði við húsið mætti að ósekju vera aðeins stærra.
