Description

Lítið gamalt sumarhús á bökkum Norðurár í Borgarfirði. Umhverfið er einstaklega fallegt. Svartagil er um 3 km frá þjóðvegi eitt, sunnan megin í Norðurárdal, gengt Bifröst og Hreðavatnsskála og rétt hjá Grábrók og Glanna.

Í sumarbústaðahverfi, mjög rólegt og afslappandi.

Í nágrenninu er ýmis konar afþreyingarmöguleikar. Golfvöllur er bæði við Bifröst og í Borgarnesi, sundlaugar á Varmalandi og í Borgarnesi og ýmsar gönguleiðir og hestaleiga í innan við 30 mínútna aksturs. Næstu verslanir eru í Borgarnesi, Baulunni og Hreðavatnsskála.
Áhugaverðir staðir í nágrenninu eru til dæmis:
Hraunsnef sveitahótel, Erpsstaðir, Hreðavatn, Grábrók, Eiríksstaðir, Glanni.
Mjög miðsvæðis fyrir dagsferðir á Snæfellsnes, í Dali, í uppsveitir Borgarfjarðar s.s. Hraunfossa, Deildartunguhver, Háafell Geitfjársetur, Langjökul og Víðgemli, og í Húnavatnssýslur.

Í húsinu eru 2 svefnherbergi, hvort um sig með hjónarúmi. Í húsinu er allur búnaður fyrir 4 gesti auk sjónvarps. Hitaveita. Heitur pottur er við húsið og sólhúsgögn.

Gæludýr eru ekki leyfð.

Very quiet location with a nice view. The hut is cozy and well equipped.

It was perfect! The location was beautiful, right by the river. The cabin was clean and fully stocked. We had some issues with the wifi at first, but it sorted itself out soon enough. The hot tub was very cozy, it took some figuring out to get it just right but when we did it was great to hang in and watch the midnight sun!

Would stay here again!

Wery nice place to spend time with loved ones, clean and cosy plus beautiful landscape and hot pot.
We will be back to enjoy this little paradise ?

Mjög flott staðsetning, umhverfið er geggjað. Bústaðurinn lítil og þægilegur. Mæli eindregið með honum.

Had a lovely 7 days in this cabin and the only negative point I can think of is the shower. There was a very, very fine line between scolding hot and freezing cold when you adjust the shower, however, it can be done with micro adjustments.
Lovely quiet area to stay if you don't mind being off the beaten track but this suited our stay
Beds were very comfortable which was an added bonus as being out all day seeing the sights and all that fresh air made us sleep like logs every night.
Sadly we never got the chance to use the hot tub due to either the waether or just the fact we were so tired.

Overall I would stay here again

Die Lage am Fluss ist wunderschön und sehr ruhig, der Bungalow bietet viel Platz und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, das Highlight ist der Hot Tube, das Ein- uns auschecken erfolgte sehr unkompliziert über eine Schlüsselbox, das finden wir etwas schade, weil wir dadurch unsere Gastgeber leider nicht kennenlernen konnten. Der Kontakt über elektronische Medien war sehr gut und wir bekamen immer eine schnelle Reaktion. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!
