Húsið er 37 fm með gistirými fyrir 4 manns. Eitt herbergi er með tveim 90 cm rúmum og tvíbreiðum svefnsófa í stofu sem einnig er eldhús og borðstofa. Í húsinu er allt það nauðsynlegasta í eldhúsi ss. hellur, ísskápur, örbylgjuofn, kaffikanna, ýmiss smá rafmagnstæki, borðbúnaður og flest öll önnur áhöld sem til þarf, einnig er í húsunum sjónvarp, video og útvarp. Lítil yfirbyggð verönd er við enda húsana með heitum potti, gasgrilli, borði og stólum. Sængur og koddar fyrir 5 manns fylgja en hægt er að leigja sængurföt og handklæði sé þess sérstakelga óskað.

An amazing experience in a very beautiful cottage!

Pros:
Amazing view and nice location, very nice relaxing hot tub, peaceful environment, very cozy, clean cottage

Cons:
Limited cutlery, no sharp knives, no scissors, very squeaky floor, two small beds instead of one large, all the doors can not stay open but swing closed due to not being straight

The cottage was very cozy and very clean. The hot tub was prepared when we came and
host was very accomodating to our requests. What you see in the pictures upon booking is what you get, if not better. And we had the perfect weather and view of the fjord. Most of my friends are asking where we were staying and I already recommended the cottage.

Great views from the hot tub, Very nice to have a gas bbq. we used it every evening to grill the freshly caught cod from our whale watching experience from Hauganes (very nice tour and only 4km from the cottage). If you are with a family and kids and would have bad weather (which we luckily did not have), than indoors is rather small. The veranda with the hot tub has a roof though which is nice.

Nice little and quite cottage with amazing view over the fjord. Warm outdoor pool and indoor heaters in winter guaranteed. Little confusion at arrival regarding access to cabin, but solved quickly. Wintertime: be aware that there is steep slope down to cabins (4WD car preferred).

It was a pleasent stay at Sel Cottage. We even went into a wrong cabin at the beginning, but they solved the problem with good care and provided an excellent solution. I would definitely recommend this lovely place!

The setting was idyllic, and the hot tub wonderful. There were no instructions on the use of the hot tub, though, so we had to ask the owner, who was fairly amenable. The charge for bed linen was very expensive, so we took our own.

This was a beautiful place, I guess part of the reason we wanted to go to Iceland was to stay at this place :) The location is so beautiful, calm and relaxing. Did i say Relaxing? Yes, you can relax in your private hot tub for as long as you want and enjoy the beauty around. The grass landscapes, the river/sea, the snow clad mountains. The cottage in itself is very clean and well maintained. Very comfortable and warm beds. Unfortunately we stayed there only for a day, would love to come back for sure.

Wonderful small cottage in a terrific location surrounded by mountains and water. Good beds and a hot tub. Minutes to the charming town of Dalvik where there is good food and a great whale watching company.

We had an awesome experience in Hlid cottage. We were upgraded from Sel and Hlid. The cottage was very well maintained and the kitchenette had all the required appliances. Our family loved the cottage and the views from the cottage are amazing.
