A fantastic stay in a very homely and welcoming cottage. Well located for all excursions in The Golden Triangle and beautiful hot tub to relax in with fantastic views of the river. Owner very responsive and informative. Highly recommended

We had a absolutely wonderful stay in the cabin in April with our two kids. It is a lovely decorated house with a well equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and a bright livingroom with a view on the lake. A good quite place to watch some birds! Once we understood how to fill the hot pot we used it every night after exploring the golden circle. We even spotted some light aurora with our camera. We would definitely come back and recommend it! Our favourite accommodation during our stay in Iceland!!!

This cottage was wonderful-- very clean, well laid out, and well equipped for my family of four to cook our meals. The view is amazing, and the location is a great jumping off point for day trips to see southern Iceland sites and then return for a long evening soak in the hot pot.

It is the perfect place to start in Iceland. We felt like at home. The flat is cozy clean and good located for the golden circle. . We loved the view to the river.

Location and the cottage are absolutely great - wonderful views and really lovely equipped house with personal touch! Even small items to make your stay most comfortable can be found: extra mobile phone charger, extra heating in the (outhouse) shower room, which made it cosy even on cold mornings, extra shoe brush at the entrance... The house is located perfectely right between Thingvallavatn and Selfoss, making it easy to either make sightseeing tour or to have access to a nearby supermarket. - Unfortunately we had some small problems concerning mice in the kitchen. The owner immediately organised someone to install a mousetrap and we caught the first during a few hours. The second one we caught by hand the day after... During the last 2 days the electric gate on the road to the house couldn't be opened any more by the electric opener, which was really bad as we nearly missed our whale watching trip because we couln't leave by car. The owner offered us to open it by her mobile but unfortunately we got the wrong number and even after correction we couln't reach her, when we needed it. So finally we left the car on the outside and walked to the house, also with all of our luggage, which was really annoying. - So finally it is a real fine cottage and lovely surrounding, nice host - but I personally would never again book a house with an electric gate...

This is a lovely cottage in a very beautiful and convenient location, close to Selfoss and to the National Park. The furnishings are very charming, and the kitchen is well equipped. The deck is spacious. Our only complaint is that it got a little stuffy and warm on sunny days--the windows do not fully open. But I don't think this would be a common problem.

Rosenberg was a lovely place to stay. It was warm, spacious and comfortable
The views were beautiful and there was easy access to tour the Golden Circle. The owners were very helpful, we would be happy to stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay. The owners have always helped us in a friendly way. The location is a good starting point for many sights in the Golden Circle. The hot tub is a pleasure. The terrace is a good place for a midnight sunbath in summer.

We loved the place! Stunning view, cosy and tasteful interior, fully equipped. Just excellent. A good location to explore the golden circle and the south coast. Would love to come back any time. And we have no clue yet how to go on without a hot tub in our garden ... Thanks for a brilliant stay.

Had a wonderful stay here, very cosy house with great views from onto the water. Very calm and peaceful location and 15minutes drive to Selfoss.

Coming from Ireland it took a while to get used to the under-floor heating and how warm it was!

Hard to find in the dark, but when we did it was gorgeous. Better than the pictures. Loved the hot pot on the deck, perfect for the sunsets and northern lights. Would definitely stay again if visiting Iceland.

We found the Summerhouse beautifully situated overlooking the river and the hills, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The directions and information from the owners made it easy to find and its location made it accessible for the main tourist sites. We found the countryside stunning and enjoyed our meal at the Fridheimar Tomato Farm.

My wife and I had a great time in this cabin during July 17. Location and set up is excellent. Only things that can be improved are 1) bedroom curtain are too thin for the Icelandic summer and 2) bed is too soft. Great place though overall and really good value for Iceland.

Lovely place to stay with our family of 4. Excellent location for Golden Circle and South Coast and Reykjavik only an hour15 away.
Cottage clean, well equipped, everything we needed, wi-fi free, with lovely views.
Wished we had booked for more than our 4 nights.

An excellent cabin with a beautiful view over the river Sogið. Beautifully decorated in every detail and comfortable beds. Every kitchen utensil that we needed was available and a good bbq. The jacuzzi was excellent as well. No wifi or tv so be prepared to have a concersation!

Nice place and very well decorated! We loved the location near the river and the hot tub! Selfoss is also a cute little town and it was easy to get to some great sights from this location (Thingvellir, horse riding, etc.).

There is no Wifi - this was fine for us, since we were on holiday! You can also go into Selfoss to get on the Internet.

Nice spacious and cosy home in a very nice surrounding. Well furnished and a almost full equipped kitchen. A good place to stay a few days. Unfortunately no WiFi

Rosenberg is a beautiful cottage in a wunderful surrounding. Marvelous furniture and phantastic kitchen with excellent equipment (spices, pots by Fissler, good pans and knives), which was much better than in every house we had so far.
We appreciated the underfloor heating very much since it was quite cold and rainy when we stayed there.
Good shops and internet are in Selfoss (15 minutes by car).

Thank you - we enjoyed our stay very much!
