The cottage was very nice and cozy. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't working. The owner was friendly and offered us a free breakfast instead. We also had problems with the electricity but nothing we couldn't fix ourselves.

we had a great time and felt very comfortable. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. We would come back anytime and can only recommend it. Thanks for the really nice stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights.
It was perfect to rest and settle down. We really enjoyed this lovely quiet place and definitely recommend it.
It was amazing to see the sheeps right around us and also laying in the hot tub and watch the northern lights!
Perfect spot.

A really nice cabin, with a very good equipped kitchen. The hot tub is inflatable, very warm, nice and deep. There is a gas bbq as well.
The cabin is out in the country side next to another cabin and the guesthouse. You can see a farm in the distance. There is a nice grass area/playground around the cabin and a river runs at around 100 meters. The small village is around 20 km away.

This was an amazing place to stay, we were able to see the Northern Lights from the hot tub! Would definitely come here again :)

The cottage was terrific and had everything that was needed. The kitchen was nicely equipped, the beds comfortable, and the hot tub a nice way to end the day. Everything was clean and the cottage is in nice location off the beaten path. Definitely take the scenic route there on the gravel road over the mountain. The views were spectacular. I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We had a meal in the restaurant for our 9th wedding anniversary, both having cod and it was the freshest and tastiest fish we had eaten. It was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend Geirland to anyone visiting Iceland and wants a lovely cottage (with hottub) in a perfect location. We hope to visit again someday
