Description

Cabin for rent located in the West of Iceland.
The cottage can accommodate 6-7 persons in 3 bedrooms. There are 3 double beds and one bunk.
One big bathroom is in the house with a shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all materials to do cooking. There are tableware for 12 persons.
In the living room there is a fireplace.

Outside there is a big porch surrounding the cottage with outdoor furniture and hot tub for use. From the porch there is a view over to Snæfellsnes peninsula on a good day and if you are lucky then the northern lights can be seen.

Pets are not allowed in the house and minimum of nights per booking is 3 nights.
Check in from 16:00 and check out before 12:00.

The location of the house is wonderful and a short distance to many beautiful attraction. Deildartunguhver, the most powerful geothermal source in Europe is a short drive away and then there are historic sites in Reykholt only 10 min drive away. Among other places then there is Hraunfossar, Barnafossar, Krauma geothermal spa, Into the glacier and many geothermal swimming pools.

We stayed in this cozy cottage with four adults and two children for three nights. It was magnificent. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely spacious cottage (no stairs). The kitchen is well equipped. Although we had a terrible storm we could enjoy our stay because there was enough room. The hot tub is fantastic. And if the weather had been better we would have enjoyed the wonderful terrace.
The restaurant is not far away.
We would really recommend this wonderful cozy cottage.

We loved the property. It was beautifully done inside and out and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Very peaceful place.

Bergiland?s house is very clean, stylish, and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here. The views from the house were beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the terrace and soak in the hot tub. There is a wonderful wood fireplace and the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home.

Nice place with a marvellous panorama view out of several windows. Lovely hot tub and everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. One of the double beds is not so big, not suited for two adults, but nice for one adult or possibly two children. I recommend staying here when you visit Iceland!

This was a lovely, well kept cottage in a stunningly beautiful area. It was an absolute treat to stay here; it really helped to make our vacation idyllic.

Cottage très spacieux, extrêmement propre, très bien équipé, meublé avec beaucoup de goût et offrant un cadre très chaleureux. Nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps et le conseillons vivement. L'environnement est magnifique, reliefs variés, bucolique et activités variées. Nous recommandons surtout into the glacier.

Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your house with us! We stayed there for 4 nights and it was absolutely amazing, inside and also on the big terrace with the beautiful view into Iceland´s nature. We recommend the house without any limitation.

Tolles Haus mit sehr schöner Einrichtung mitten in der Natur , landschaftlich sehr schön gelegen, mit Ausblick vom Whirlpool auf Berge und einen See. Sehr gute Anfahrtbeschreibung vom Vermieter. Zimmer alle mit Rollo, sehr praktisch, da es im Juni nie dunkel wird

We enjoyed our stay during Easter very much. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the equipment you need. The view from all the windows is beautiful and the cottage is located conveniently near many sightseeing options. Many thanks!

Our stay here was wonderful and relaxing. The view from the deck and hot pot was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was great for day trips to visit sites. Our kids loved the surprise of finding the nearby troll statues and games at Fossatun. It's about 20 minutes to Borgarnes where there are multiple grocery stores, a bakery and a vinbudin, so it was easy to resupply.

Fallegur og afar vel búinn sumarbústaður. Staðsettur skammt frá Fossatúni. Umhverfið fallegt rólegt og notalegt. Við áttum frábæra 4 daga í þessum bústað og gef ég eiganda mín bestu meðmæli.

Everything was ready for us on arrival, very many tools to clean and use for making food etc. The cabin itself is amazing and comfortable, the view and nature around is also beautiful

The bungalow is in a great location. Surrounded by only nature (and a single neighbor bungalow) it is wonderfully quiet. Once inside we were pleasantly surprised by the interior and exterieur of the bungalow. Very complete and especially cozy. It felt like a warm blanket. Furthermore, the bungalow was very neat and clean. We would recommand it to everyone.
