Newly refurbished house for rent. It was built in year 1955 and is 140m2 in size. The house is located in a beautiful country side in East of Iceland.
The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals and tableware that go along with that. The living room is cozy with a TV.
On the porch outside the house is a BBQ and a outdoor furniture.

- 70 km to Borgarfjörður Eystri
- 40 km to Egilsstaðir
- 4Newly renovated residential house for rent that was built in 1955. Is 140 m2 in size and is located in Jölulsárhlíð Múlaþing (Hlíðargarður).
The kitchen has the main tableware and there is a lounge with a TV. On the sidewalk outside is a barbecue and outdoor furniture.
There are almost 3 fishing years, Fögruhlíðará, Jökulsá and Kaldá where it is possible to buy a fishing license in Hálsakot.
There are many hiking trails in the area .. 22000 per day for the house and 4 in accommodation minimum2 night, EUR 148,53

Property wasn?t easy to find as it?s located in very separated area but pictures from the offer and advices from the owner were very helpful. Cottage itself felt like home, we didn?t wanna leave and surely we?ll be back! Waterfall behind the house is stunning, emptiness and comfort of the house are very calming. Great day it was!

Stayed there for a few days with my girlfriend. The house was beautifully furnished, decorated and clean. The surroundings really bear the raw soul of the East region, good weather or bad, and the tranquillity is absolute!

We spent a very enjoyable week in this very clean and well equipped cottage with comfortable beds.
The situation is peaceful and we took full advantage of opportunities to bird watch.
We would definitely book this property again.
