Sumarhúsið er byggt árið 2006 í landi Indriðastaða og stendur við vatnið. Í húsinu eru 3 svefnherbergi og svefnloft. Húsið er búið helstu tækjum og tólum og þægilegt fyrir allt að 10 manns. Í gestahúsinu er auk þess rúm fyrir 2, með sér baðherbergi (með sturtu). Við heita pottinn er útisturta. Gott grill er í grillgeymslu, borð bæði fyrir sunnan og vestan hús. Stór lóð sem hentar vel til leikja.Stutt er á Hvanneyri, í Hreppslaug og á golfvellinu á Akranesi og Hamri. Ber eru í landinu, bæði bláber og krækiber.

We were an extended family ages 10-80 that stayed for three nights at the lakehouse. It was a fantastic finale to a wonderful visit to Iceland. The location was perfectly situated to visit the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, horseback riding at Sturlureykir farm, Reykholt, Borgarnes, and Viðgelmir cave. The house is wonderfully spacious with a loft area for the kids to sleep and play in, and a separate guest suite for the grandparents to have some quiet, private space. We enjoyed being right beside the lake, and our family loved the hotspring-fed jacuzzi tub. The house was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful lakehouse!!
