PRIME LOCATION ! Beautiful summerhouse, 125 sqm, located only in 45 minutes drive from Iceland capital city Reykjavik, nothing but peace and quiet and beautiful view. Guests are welcome to walk wherever they please, in the woods or by the river Sogid, a big river with plenty of fish and bird life. There are plenty of activities. Hill walking, horse riding, golf and plenty of sights nearby. The south of Iceland is famous for sightseeing and spectacular mountains and coastal sceneries. Staying in the summerhouse will save time if you are going to take some sightseeing in the south area of Iceland which is the main attraction on the island. The summerhouse is located in the The Golden Circle, which the most popular tourist route in Iceland, which includes three primary stops, the national park Þingvellir (20min), the waterfall Gullfoss (45min) and the geothermal active valley of Haukadalur with the geysers Geysir and Strokkur (30min) and Kerið volcano crater (15 min). There are several restaurants in the nearest area.
3 bedrooms, 1) main bedroom with a king size bed, 2)bedroom with a queen size beds and one sized bed, 3) bedroom with a queen size bed. We have available one baby bed.
There is a barbecue grill outside, garden furniture, trampoline for the children during summertime and a hot tub all year-around.
-You have to be at least 26 years old to book this cottage.
-This is a family owned cottage and we do not allow partys in the house!

Sehr schönes Haus in guter Lage zur Erkundung des Südostens. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und Island ist überwältigend schön.

A wonderful house in a wonderful location.
A hot tub that replenishes itself while you're in it and continues to do that after a long hot soak, so the water is totally fresh the next day.
An excellent coffee maker, a great kitchen full of pots, pans, utensils, you name it.
Salt/pepper/spices available for you to cook with.
Good beds (with the exception of the upper bunk bed)
An enormous supply of clean towels.
Lots of privacy in a beautiful area.
Lots of birds and birdsong.
Close to the Iceland Highlights.
Kind host...

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem modernen, stilvollen und bestens ausgestatteten Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist perfekt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region sind schnell erreicht. Eine klare Empfehlung an alle Island-Urlauber.

Húsið er mjög vel staðsett og vel útbúið. Aðeins vantaði upp á þrifin þar sem við þurftum að ryksuga í kringum borðstofusvæðið er við komum. Þá hefðu mátt vera betri leiðbeiningar varðandi staðsetningu, hvernig hliðið virkar sem og leiðbeiningar í húsinu sjálfu, t.d. varðandi stillingu á potti. Annars allt fínt og ég get vel mælt með þessum bústað.

A nice cottage, fair sized rooms and a bright and spacious living room / kitchen. Location is good and directions to get there are easy to follow. Would have enjoyed a little more comfy beds and general cleaning could have been better. Owner allowed late check out without any problems.
