Description

The house stands by the shore. It is away from farms in the area so you can enjoy some peace and quiet of Icelandic nature. It's 30 km west of Borgarnes. The location is perfect if you are traveling to Snæfellsnes peninsula.
Our location is ideal for observing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) as they can be seen from October through March. There are no nearby light that can prevent your experience.
The house was built in 1965 but refurnished in 2015. It stands by the sea, a beautiful shore. There is a lot of animal life in the area, seals, eagles, horses and cows for an example. The nature surrounding is stunning, a great possibility to see the northern lights when the skies are clear. The sunset is one of a kind.
Booking rate is for five guests or less. For groups larger than five you need to contact host.

Very good experience! We had very bad luck with the weather and spent 3 days in the house. It was very clean and well kept. Very nice kitchen and we'll equipped.

Nice clean house with everything you need. Really good location to get away from the hectic with lots of views, especially in the hotpot. Definitely a place to consider staying a second time
