Cozy and compact cottage located on the banks of the Salmon river Blanda. Within the walls you will find a bunker good for 4 people and a small kitchen with kitchenware. Rest room and shower is located within the house.

Surrounding area is beautiful as it is next to the Salmon river Blanda and the muncipality Blönduós were all necessities can be obtained . The location is great for tourists travelling around Iceland as route 1 which is the main higway around Iceland is directly attached.

This cottage was in a great location on the Blanda River, and was actually brand new. It still needed some final touches, but we were able to be cozy and rested while staying there. Beware, though, that the website lists this property as renting for just over $105 US dollars, but was actually much higher than that. I was told that they just hadn't "updated" the website, but it was very confusing for me trying to book. For a convenient location and cute cottage experience I recommend it.
