Description

The house is 27 m2, one bedroom with twin bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Duvets and pillows for 2 included but bed linens, towels, babybeds and chairs available upon request. There is a small covered veranda with a coal barbeque (coal and lighter fluid not provided), furniture and a geothermal hot water tub.The living room has a sofa, TV and radio. The kitchen is fully equipped; hot plate, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, other small appliances and table ware.

Amazing! Great location! Lovely cottage and it?s so lovely to relax in the hot tub. We made a huge snowman and loved our time at the cottage. Thank you very much for our stay. We would definitely stay again!

The bungalow was the best accommodation we had in Iceland ! The beds are unbelievable comfy, the whirlpool directly in front of the house, the calm location with the view on the ocean, a well equipped kitchen & everything was very clean.

We booked this property for 2 nights for part of our trip around Iceland. I had never heard of or used Bungalo before however the booking system was easy to use. Directions on the booking confirmation were accurate, however I hadn't emailed the owner to confirm key collection details. Luckily they had left them in the door upon our arrival. We were incredibly happy with this beautiful cottage - you couldn't ask for more beautiful scenery and being located near Dalvik/Akureyri makes getting necessities easy. The hot tub was definitely a perk- especially with that view! Neighbouring cottages are close by enough to not feel isolated but give you enough privacy. I would highly recommend these cottages to anybody visiting the area. Thank you for a fantastic visit!

Pros:
The view was so amazing that it took our breath away when we woke up and saw it in the day light. The cabin was cozy, warm, and an all around a delight. Very close to Akureyri and the beerbath.
The stove top and fridge were a pleasant amenity and were very appreciated.

Cons:
Instruction in how to use the stove top and hot tub would have been very helpful for us.
We didnt use the TV much but a list of channels would have been appreciated.

Overall we had a great time and would absolutely come back again.

Amazing time! I never wanted to leave! By far my favorite place we stayed in Iceland, and my favorite area to explore in the country. Beautiful views, peaceful and serene. Felt like home. We actually got upgraded to the bigger cottage, Hild, and could not have been happier. I will without a doubt be back, next time for longer (we stayed a week) and will definitly stay in the same cabin, it's worth it if your on the fence about getting the bigger one vs. the smaller (though the smaller one would have also been fine!)

Amazing, amazing, amazing- hated to leav. View was stunning, not a far drive to town, the beer spa is around the corner. Absolutely wonderful!
