Description
Lovely cottage located in the West of Iceland which is a good base for for exploring what the region has to offer. The house was renovated in 2016 and designed to have a rustic feel.In the house you will find a small and lovely living room with a sofa that can be turned into a sofa bed. In that open space you will find a kitchen with all things needed to prepare a good meal.
There is one bedrooms in the house and it has a double bed (140x200cm).
Then there is a bathroom with a shower and we provide a hairdryer, wc paper, soap and shampoo.
Outside the house you will find a porch to enjoy the view of the surrounding area and the tranquility. A Gas BBQ is on the porch.
This cabin is a good base for day tours around the region, for example around the Snæfellsnes peninsula or to Husafell and Into the Glacier.
15 minute drive is to next town called Borgarnes where you can find most things you could need.
You will need a car to arrive to the house. In the winter time we recommend a 4x4.
