Description

A secluded house right outside of the quaint village of Bakkafjörður in the North-East of Iceland. The house is right by the seaside and offers an amazing ocean view along with the midnight sun. You can experience the Icelandic wildlife, there is a bird cliff a short distance from the house and you to the songbirds singing, if you are lucky you can see Raindeer and even Artic Foxes. There is a restaurant and a shop in the village and a natural swimming pool, Selárdalslaug, is only a ca. 20 minute drive away. In late August you might witness the Northern Lights dancing in the sky.
Please notice that we will open up a coffee house on the ground floor this summer. Only three bedrooms on the upper floor are rented out with access to a shared kitchen and a shared bathroom.
