Absolutely perfect start to our Iceland vacation. So peaceful and quiet. Easy to find and everything you need is there. It is a 10 km drive to fuel and groceries so be sure to stock up. Terrific base for touring the south coast sights.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely holiday house. The cottage is really well equipped, everything we needed was there such as tools for the kitchen, TV, and a nice BBQ grill. The beds where super comfortable, we really slept like babies! My favorite thing was the view and the location though: You could see the Eyjafjallajökull glacier from the cottage and the beautiful mountains of the South coast where very nearby. Then it only took us 10 minutes to drive to the amazing Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabúi waterfalls! Super!!

This is a wonderful wooden cottage sites in beautiful Icelandic countryside. The cottage is very comfortable and homely and every creature comfort is provided for you. You have a view of mountains and glaciers in country dotted with sheep and Icelandic horses. You will have beautiful peace and quiet and bird song. The cottage is warm and cosy and the beds soft and comfortable. The cottage is well located for seeing sights of South Iceland, eg Skogar and Seljalandfoss waterfalls and the dramatic black volcanic beaches at Vik.
