This beautiful cabin is located just 4 km outside Akureyri in a peaceful countryside area
During winter this is a great place to watch the northern lights when the northern light forecast is good because of little light pollution

The space

The cabin is located in the countryside,
only few minute drive into town

The cabin has 2 bedrooms with beds for 5 persons, kitchen, bathroom & living room.
There is a pull out couch that 2 extra persons can sleep on in the living room
There is a big patio with hot tub that is usable during winter as well.

small cozy house. We were 4 adults and a toddler. The toilet/shower is a bit small. The whirlpool top, can be filled from the toilet itself whenever you feel like it. The contact person is very nice and happy to help. Was very nice there!

Great location. Own hot pot with nice view. Own grill on a large patio. Well equippped kitchen. Cosy living room. Close to Akureyri and the ring road - yet a peaceful and quiet place. And a very likable host!

All rooms are clean & comfortable. Caretaker is very friendly, helpful & took the trouble to send our clothes for washing. Kitchen was very clean and well equipped.

Fantastic little cabin just outside Akureyri which we can certainly recommend. This one has everything you need, is clean and well-equipped. The owners are very pleasant to deal with and the surroundings are beautiful.
