Description

It is our second home and we have used it a lot last 17 years. The house has everything you need. It has good bed for six. The view is fantastic, you can really see to Reykjanes/Keflavik in a good weather. It is so nice for children to be there, a lot of free space to play at. It is a short drive around Snæfellsnes, Húsafell and many other lovely places. Also there are many nice places to walk up in the surroundings.
There's everything you need for a vacation in the house. The surrounding is amazing. The view to all directions. It is a ideal place to sit in the hot tub and look at northern lights and stars, nothing is better. You can easily make a day trip to Snaefellsnes, to Reykholt, Barnafossa and many other nice places. It is just 20 minutes from Borgarnes.
The house is 80 m2 and the second floor is 45 m2. You can use the house and the lovely surrounding. Outside are table for 8 people and a hot tub which is always ready.

We had a great, relaxing weekend at this cabin. It feels like a home away from home, like you borrowed a cabin from friends or family rather than rented one. The facilities are great, would absolutely go again.

Wonderfull view. Bungalow is a little outdated and full with stuf, but overall it is a good place to stay.

Nice and comfortible house with "character" - good location and a lot to see in an 30 min. or 1 hour drive. We had a very good stay:)

It was a beautiful place with all the comforts someone could need. The road is a little bumpy but already the view of the little house in front of the mountains compensates all.
The contact with the host is very easy and nice. We really will try to come back one day!

We have a wonderful stayed at this property . The house is very cosy , warm and clean . It is liked a home away from home . The kitchen has everything from pots and pans to cooking ingredients. We have a great time staying in here ,view of sun rises , and northern lights .

Beau chalet, quelques petites bizarreries, entrée par la salle de bains, nourriture plein les placards et réfrigérateur mais surtout la 3eme chambre est un grenier plein de vieilleries même sous le lit, chaînes de roue de voiture, enfin bref un peu déçu quand même.

Stayed 2 nights - wish it could've been longer! This fully furnished home has everything you need, especially if you have a longer trip. It is comfortable and inviting in a beautiful setting. It is a little remote and the drive in is on a passable, but rough road. Kitchen stocked with basic cooking supplies +, washer, hot tub, dining table, blankets, throws...large porch for watching the night sky. And yes, a glorious Northern lights show if the conditions are suitable. Jona was a gracious hostess and responded quickly to questions. All in all a wonderful experience!

A beautiful house and a lovely host. All utilities needed are there, lots of towels and a hot tub overlooking the fantastic view. It is a little off track, but once you get there it really is like coming home. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds and many extra beds too. Very cosy and the surroundings are fantastic.

We had some wonderfull days at the cottage. The location and scenery were outstanding, we even made a daytour around Snaefelsnes and enjoyed the hot-tub after a long day of hiking and travelling. Very cosy and well-equipped cottage. Thank you for sharing!

We had a really great time but it was damn too short. We didn't have a chance to see the northern lights but we will definitely be back there. They have everything you might need and the house is big enough for 6 (we were only 3). The hot tub is great and the surrounding awesome. We'll be back. For sure.
