Very (VERY) good place if you know icelandic reality and you are interested in friendly price od accomodation. Simple comfortable cottage, well equiped in the best location in whole Iceland (0-2 hours to all main atractions on the South coast and the airport as well). Not for you if you need ***** stars hotel or if you have a psyhical challenge as a guest with ?too high grass? or rust on the gate or If you need new equipment only or big american bathroom;) The cottage is hidden in the real icelandic farm, is comfortable, with good size/space for 4 guests, only for you (great comfort in that nice price). And even your smile is not full during first minute - wait a moment, remember about the price and enjoy! For our family it was real gem(!), great nice surprice and we are very happy after few days in Bera Sumarhus. Hope see you again, Takk fyrir!

We really enjoyed our stay at this basic, but cosy cottage. It's situated on a farm, but has lots of privacy. We briefly met the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. Great value, too

Beautiful cottage in a very quite area. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, very cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
