The landlord gave us a friendly welcome. However, we were disappointed with the cabin. Nice on the outside but not very comfortable inside.
First of all, the slits of the front door should definitely be sealed with a wooden, plastic or metal strip. This keeps the crowds of flies outside and keeps the draft air out by the beds espacially on windy and cold days. I tried this successfully with a textile adhesive tape. Of course, the entrance door should be prepared in such a way that it is to open and close easily. A hut with a door that jams so badly should never be rented out to tourists! It was also disappointing that the door was not repaired during our stay. A carpenter could have fixed these problems in an hour.
The ancient door lock is certainly interesting, but it is cumbersome and impractical, especially for elderly. It takes a lot of strength and skill to open the door.
Unfortunately, from time to time it smells very unpleasant in the toilet. Presumably exhaust gases from the waste water collection tank, which are pushed through the siphon in the sink by overpressure.
Unfortunately there is no shower either. The small hotpot was dangerously slippery and gross because of the algae growth and no substitute at all.
The stairs to the upper sleeping places should definitely have a railing, which would not be a structural problem and is absolutely necessary from a safety point of view. So we didn't use it for safety reasons.
In addition, the hut should be equipped at least with a wardrobe for clothes and personell belongings for 2 people). There where only some hooks for hanging the wardrobe. A decent sized sink (not just a hand basin) is minimum standard. An electric kettle (saves electricity, works faster), a microwave (also saves electricity and is essential for many quick frozen dishes), a coffee machine/maker, suitable pots (there were only two aluminum pots, the bottoms of which were not flat, so the food often burned). A room lighting or lighting above the dining table. There was only one floor lamp next to the sofa
To be honest we were disappointed how a cabin can be rent in this condition (draughty and stuck front door with flies constantly coming in) with inadequate facilities at all. The underfloor heating, a slummy, dirty hot pot and a fly killer lamp will not help under this circumstances.
In summery, we cannot recommend the hut.
